Bowing and scraping to Brussels?

This is the attitude that has put uk drivers in the position that they are in today. 80 and even 90 hour working weeks are the norm rather than the exception, and all because drivers will not stand up for themselves. I for one am ecstatic about the wtd. I will make sure that I dont abuse it for employers gain and then maybe we will be paid what we deserve. It is drivers working all the hours that God sends that has made us a laughing stock to the majority of employers.
For once the E U has done us a favour

i agree thee has come a point when us drivers should not have to work excessive hours to compliment everyone elses better lifestyle. if we got paid a decent rate we wouldn't need to work all these hours, ok we get a good pay rise and everyone pays 1p extra on a can beans is that such a bad thing?
