POA will most certainly be missused and abused by a vast number of drivers. The 48 hour average was introduced to give workers a better work/life existance and to hopefully encourage companies to pay a higher living wage for less hours worked. POA has given transport companies a massive opt out through the back door to the new legislation.
Don't use POA for the first 6 months at least and then see how your wage bargining power increase

i am a 8 wheel tipper driver who gets a good wage but in the job im in i dont get much time for poa so i will be losing about 100 pounds a week . who is going to help run my house
