FTA Announces New Policy Manager

The Freight Transport Association has appointed James Firth as Regional Policy Manager - Northern England, working from FTA's office in Leeds.
Firth, a graduate of the University of Sheffield, joins FTA after four years in Whitehall, firstly in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, but since the beginning of 2004 at the Department for Transport.
At FTA he will report to Head of Policy for Northern England Malcolm Bingham. Bingham and Firth will cover the whole of the North from the South of Yorkshire to the Scottish borders.
