Free and Simple Software - Key to Digitach Nirvana

Document Actions
Since Digital Tachographs replaced their Analogue predecessors at the beginning of May, Road Tech Computer Systems has seen a huge demand for its Tachomaster solution.

Having been available for just seven weeks on www.tachomaster.co.uk, the system already boasts an extremely impressive client list that includes not only top UK logistics companies such as TNT and TDG, but also commercial vehicle manufacturers DAF and MAN as well.

The key to Tachomaster's success has been Road Tech's approach of removing the expense, mystery and difficulty that usually surrounds Digital Tachograph solutions.

"With Tachomaster there are no complicated charging mechanisms, no tie-in contracts and no expensive training courses to attend", said Derek Beevor, Road Tech's Managing Director. "What's more, the software is a free download from the Internet and there's no charge for the first 28-days use either", he continued.

"Before we started working on Tachomaster I looked at all of the other available solutions. Without exception the companies concerned all seem to want to make life as costly and difficult as possible for you.

"Some have complicated pre-payment options that are far too convoluted and, frankly, over priced, whilst others are just impossible to use. We've made Tachomaster really simple to use and cheap; at the end of your 28-day free trial, full use of the system costs from just £1 per driver per week."

All that is required to use Tachomaster is a Smart Card Reader and the free software. Once installed, the system will read a Driver's Card in under a minute and provide instant validation and analysis of the data against both Drivers' Hours and Road Transport Directive regulations.

As well as Digital, Tachomaster caters for Analogue Charts too providing an integrated and total tachograph solution.

With its comprehensive report suite, Tachomaster can display the stored data in a vast array of different formats enabling users to choose the reports that suit them best.

As Tachomaster is Internet-based, any changes to legislation are automatically and seamlessly catered for. What's more, users can view their own data from anywhere that they can connect to the Internet.
