New OEM Releases from Allison
Allison will reveal new OEM contracts and present its latest automatic transmission products at their SMOPYC debut on 22nd to 26th April.
Allison Transmission will mark its SMOPYC debut, the main trade fair in the Spanish construction and public works, with the announcement of two major OEM releases. In addition, visitors to stand G-H/1-6 will have the opportunity to see their latest 4000 Series gearbox and talk to application engineers about their requirements in this specialist sector.
“Allison’s products are ideal for construction applications where strength, reliability and productivity are essential,” says Spanish area manager Trond Johansen. “We are experiencing significant growth in this market and look forward to presenting our benefits to OEMs and operators in the sector. We will have engineers on the stand to answer any enquiries about the use of fully automatic transmissions and the advantages they can offer.”
Allison has worked on all-terrain and construction applications in conjunction with leading manufacturers to deliver operating improvements, reliability and better safety. It currently offers releases in Renault, Bell, Terex, Scania, Terberg, Moxy, and others.
The SMOPYC show will see Allison announce further applications for the 4000 Series, an example of which will be on display. This model, manufactured at Allison’s factory in Hungary, is supplied with 6 or 7 speeds and has been designed specifically for heavy duty applications, including construction and all-terrain vehicles up to 700 CV or 2,576 Nm.
Proven in the harshest applications, it is set to be introduced to other sectors of the construction market where it can deliver improved reliability, productivity and performance.
In addition to attending SMOPYC, Allison will also be present at the Italian trade fair Samoter 2008 that runs from 11th to 15th March.
