Market leader in its home country, the Czech Republic, Avia is gradually spreading its influence across the rest of mainland Europe.

Following its acquisition by Ashok Leyland last year, the UK arm of the company is now consolidating its position and is in the process of expanding its dealer network.

Managing Director, Brian Rothwell, confirmed the company’s plans, “Avia’s 3 year unlimited mileage warranty on all retail purchases will be extended into 2007.

“This warranty package is indicative of the confidence we have in the product and further demonstrates Avia’s long term commitment to the UK truck market.”

At the moment, the company produces a range of day, sleeper, and crew cab 7.5 tonnes chassis cabs aimed directly at the smaller operator and utility sectors although there are plans in place to increase the range in the New Year but buyers will have to wait until the CV Show in April to find out more!
