Woodland Turns Over a New Leaf

Document Actions
Leading independent freight forwarder Woodland International Transport Co. Ltd has launched a new business, Woodland Media Logistics, to serve the transportation and distribution needs of the international magazine industry.
Woodland offers complete sorting and onward distribution services, as well as finishing, which involves re-packaging products and removing any promotional items, when necessary, before sending on to the country of destination. The company recently opened a facility in Colchester, Essex, dedicated to Woodland Media Logistics.

Paul Almeroth, commercial director of Woodland Media Logistics, said: “Providing transport services for the magazine industry is a highly-specialised business. The fact that we already control a significant share of the market for magazines being exported to the United States is testament to Woodland’s ability to satisfy customers in this field.

“We are particularly well-placed to meet the logistics needs of UK publishers looking to export their titles around the world, utilising a mixture of air freight, when shipments are time-sensitive, as well as road and sea freight.”

Woodland has also been unanimously accepted as an associate member of Distripress, the Swiss-based association which seeks to promote the international distribution of printed materials.

The Woodland Group offers a wide range of transport and logistics services, including forwarding by all modes, as well as specialist and value-added services, and has offices in the UK, USA and Ireland. Based at the group’s headquarters in Coggeshall, Essex, the contact details for Woodland Media Logistics are:

Woodland Media Logistics, Anglia Freight Terminal, Priors Way, Coggeshall, Essex, CO6 1TL.
