Multi-Tasking Isuzu Cleans Up With Dyno-Rod
Supplied by local Northwest Isuzu agent Ditchburn Truck Services Ltd, the Isuzu drawbar unit is operating throughout the franchise region covering East Lancashire, North Manchester and parts of North Yorkshire, based out of the franchisees operations centre in Blackburn.
According to Max Craven, Managing Director, Craven Services North West, "We generally run smaller vehicles however for certain work schedules, we had a requirement for a truck that could also pull a drawbar trailer. The 3.5 tonne Isuzu NKR-W that was recommended to us by Ditchburn Trucks seemed to be the ideal solution."
The Isuzu NKR-W truck features the wide cab option and has a lockable box facility for tools as well as a standard tipping body. Liveried in the striking Dyno-Rod colours, the vehicle has just recently gone into service and is scheduled to have a minimum 5-year working life. Right from the outset the franchise owner has been pleased with its on and off road performance.
"We already operate a 6.2 tonne Isuzu with a box body that has jetting gear to the rear, which has given us excellent service over the past five years. This gave us the confidence to specify Isuzu again and the new truck is performing as expected, it tows the trailer with ease and is proving to be more than capable of handling our work requirements," said Max Craven.
The supply of further Isuzu vehicles to this Dyno-Rod franchise is part of a long established relationship between Ditchburn Trucks and Craven Services North West, with the Liverpool based company now the principle supplier of all vehicles to the Blackburn franchise.
