CERT FMCG Wins New Wine Contract

CERT FMCG, part of the CERT Group, has won a new, ongoing contract to provide storage and distribution services to one of the UK's leading wine suppliers, D&D Wines International Ltd.

Under the contract CERT FMCG will manage the warehousing and delivery of D&D's extensive portfolio of wines throughout the UK.  The operation will be run from CERT's 106,000 sq. ft. bonded, multi-user site in Middleton, Manchester.  Orders will be downloaded via CERT's secure web-based ordering and stock monitoring system, CERT Online, picked and distributed to major retailers, wholesalers and cash and carries via CERT's approved Regional Network Partners.

Cheshire based D&D Wines International Ltd has been established for over 30 years and is recognised as one of the leading wine suppliers to the UK and Irish markets. D&D Wines represents producers from all major wine producing regions of the world and manages the distribution of leading wine brands, including Canti, Angove's, Osborne, Bethany Wines, and Luis Felipe Edwards.

Commenting on the decision to appoint CERT FMCG, Mark Sands, Finance Director at D&D Wines International Ltd said: "We chose CERT FMCG because it has vast supply chain expertise within the wines and spirits sector.  CERT also has a well established network in place for delivery of our products and has the experience and capacity to cope with our continuously evolving business."
