Transport News Scottish Rewards 2006

With the annual Transport News Scottish Rewards 2006 breakfast presentation falling this year on 11th November, there will be a formal act of remembrance during the ceremony at 11am.

All 600 guests will be able to purchase a poppy when arriving for complimentary coffee available from 8.45am within an enlarged foyer display mounted by category sponsors. Thereafter, it's into the banqueting hall for a hot Scottish breakfast with 'surprise' live background music.

Champagne, or Buck's Fizz, courtesy of refrigerated vehicle specialists Gray & Adams will be served prior to the presentation of the 15 Rewards; Scotland's prestigious road transport industry icons of achievement.

As usual, the glittering presentation breakfast event will be held in to Moat House Hotel, Glasgow, and the 60 tables of ten have been fully booked since April.

Speakers this year include CBI director general Sir Digby Jones and Scottish Transport Minister Tavish Scott.

All 600 guests have the opportunity to win a Fiat Panda 1.2 Dynamic car, presented by Fiat and Scottish Rewards support company Iveco. Proceeds go to industry charity Transaid.

Also, one of the 60 table numbers will be drawn to receive a special prize of seasonal fare worth £100 supplied by Alliance & Leicester Commercial Finance, where all ten Rewards visitors at the lucky table will be winners at Scotland's biggest industry gathering compered by TV sports presenter, Dougie Donnelly.
