Danes Move on Particulate Filters
Denmark is poised to introduce new legislation that will see diesel particulate filters fitted on all heavy goods vehicles that operate in special inner city environmental zones.
All vehicles over 3.5 tonnes will be affected unless they meet certain EU vehicle emission standards. Environmental or "low emission" zones are becoming increasingly popular in Scandinavia and are being considered as part of the EU clean air strategy.
