Volvo CH from Irvine
The definitive word on the Scottish-built 'Bitsa' from 'Two-Stroke' on Biglorryblog!
Thank Goodness for 'Two Stroke' for putting me straight on the special 'narrow-cab' CH Volvos built at Irvine. TS tells Biglorryblog:: "The CH 230 was a Swiss special to meet the 2.3m wide and hp/tonne issues for Switzerland - it used the F12 engine and chassis under the narrower F7 cab. It was designed to replace the popular F89 in Switzerland. The F88/89 cab was not full width in the same way as F10/12 cab."
